Kate Blackstock (b.1991) is a British painter living and working in Galicia, Spain. Her work explores landscapes through loose oil and ink paintings. Recently her approach has used passages of text describing landscape and traversing these imagined places in paint. Blackstock's work layers different materials in an accumulative process to form a rich language of colour, texture, solid form and the drawn line. Blackstock completed a BA in Fine Art at the University of Gloucestershire in 2025.
